OPED treatment gets injured people fit quicker

CAMOped is a product of OPED GmbH. The company is specialized in medical technology that gets injured people back on their feet quicker. The most important product is a vacuum splint that replaces a plaster cast (> VACOped). This allows a broken leg, a sprained wrist, a torn Achilles tendon or torn ligaments to be treated in a patient-friendly way.

Innovation Made in Upper Bavaria
The idea for the CAMOped motion splint came from the founder of the company, when he himself tore his cruciate ligament when skiing. All OPED products are made in Germany, are reusable and can be recycled. Some 150 people are employed in the Medizinpark Valley (> www.medizinpark-valley.de) in development, sales, assembly and refurbishment. In total, OPED looks after over 40,000 patients each year.
